Custom software for demanding business processes

We design, build and maintain .NET systems that run real processes in financial-sector companies. From requirements analysis, through architecture and implementation, to production deployment and ongoing development.

Why SQuare Solutions

We are not another supplier of billable hours. We go deep enough into a project to be accountable for the outcome, not just for the code we hand over.

One partner from analysis to deployment

Your project does not travel between teams, losing context on the way. The same person who gathers the requirements with you is responsible for the architecture, the code, the tests and the production rollout.

Business first, code second

Before the first line of code is written, we want to understand the process the system is meant to support and what a successful rollout means to you. Good analysis is cheaper than reworking a finished solution.

Partnership model

For features that translate directly into revenue, we can settle through a share of the profit instead of — or alongside — a time-based rate. That way we take on part of your risk.

Services

What we do

Three areas backed by years of real production experience. We do not advertise capabilities we have not proven in a live deployment.

All services

Custom web applications

We build .NET web systems from scratch: from requirements analysis, through architecture and data model design, to production deployment and knowledge transfer to your team.

  • Requirements analysis and architecture design
  • ASP.NET Core, Web API, React + TypeScript
  • Production deployment and knowledge transfer

Integrations and APIs

We design and deliver data exchange between systems — REST, SOAP, message queues and batch processing. Together with error handling, retries and monitoring.

  • REST, SOAP, message queues
  • Batch processing and job scheduling
  • Error handling, retries and monitoring

Legacy .NET modernisation

We take over existing .NET Framework, WebForms, MVC 5 and WCF applications: clean up the architecture, migrate to .NET 10+ and get them to a state where development is predictable again.

  • Architecture and technical debt audit
  • Migration from .NET Framework to .NET 10+
  • Step by step, without stopping the business

How we work

A repeatable process every client of ours knows. No surprises about who is responsible for what, or when you will see working software.

  1. 01

    Initial conversation

Free and with no obligation. We get to know the problem, the business context and the constraints. At this stage we also say plainly if we are not the right contractor for the job.

  2. 02

    Analysis and scope

We write down the functional requirements, set priorities and define the boundaries of the first release. Scope we do not understand does not make it into the quote.

  3. 03

    Architecture and quote

We propose a technical solution, an engagement model and a schedule. And we explain why this one — including what the alternatives would cost.

  4. 04

    Implementation

We work iteratively. At every stage you get working software to look at, rather than a progress report.

  5. 05

    Production deployment

Environments, CI/CD, data migration, acceptance testing and knowledge transfer. We treat deployment as part of the project, not as a separate engagement.

  6. 06

    Development and maintenance

We stay with the system for as long as it is needed — handling tickets, developing features and responding to changes in the business environment.

Technologies

The stack we work with daily and run in production — not a list of fashionable buzzwords.
